The Grouch & Eligh San Diego Concert reviews
Loved the band, not fond of the venue changes
"The Grouch & Eligh were AMAZING as always! Love these guys, saw them for the fourth time. The venue was nice, but the event organization was disappointing. When the tickets were sold, you had to buy in pods. After covid restrictions changed, they switched to no pods for sections 2 and 3 which was fine. An email was sent stating what was allowed and not allowed in the venue. Chairs had to meet specific requirements, not standard folding or camping chairs. Since we didn't have the right chairs, we used a blanket to sit on. Arriving early for a good seat, we discovered they weren't checking chairs. The couple in front of us had a huge oversized camping chair that blocked the view of the stage and monitors. We couldn't move due to the crowds. If the chairs had been as stated, we wouldn't have had this issue. The entry was chaotic and the staff were insufficient for the number of people arriving. I've been to several events hosted by DWP, but this one left me very disappointed."
